Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: University City, San Diego (Hybrid)
Position Type: Full-time, Hybrid
A nonprofit organization based in University City, San Diego, is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Manager to join our client’s team. This role offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, combining both remote and in-office work. The HR Manager will oversee all HR functions, ensuring the organization complies with local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities include recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, policy development and payroll.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee full-cycle recruitment and employee onboarding
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
Administer employee benefits, payroll, and HR policies
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization’s goals
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives
Maintain HR records and utilize HR software for efficient management
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field is preferred but not required
Minimum of 2 years of HR management experience, preferably in a nonprofit setting
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proficiency in HR software and systems
Knowledge of ADP system is preferred
Knowledge of DEI initiatives
Candidate is required to live in San Diego County, CA
Working Hours:
40 hours per week

Monday- Friday
8:00am-5:00pm PST
