Job Title: Human Resources Specialist

Location: Poway, CA

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Specialist focused on Recruiting and Safety to join our client’s well-established organization in Poway. In this role, you will play a crucial part in attracting top talent and ensuring workplace safety compliance. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding processes. You will collaborate with department managers to assess hiring needs and maintain a positive, compliant workplace environment. The compensation for this direct hire position ranges between $28-$30 per hour, with excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes

• Conduct safety training and ensure OSHA compliance

• Assist with onboarding new employees and maintaining HR records

• Develop and implement safety initiatives to enhance workplace safety

• Partner with management to assess staffing needs and recruitment strategies

• Assist with employee relations and conflict resolution

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred but not required

• 1- 3+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, and/or safety is preferred

• Recruiting experience is required

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Tech savvy, HRIS experience, Microsoft Office Suite

Working Hours:

• 40 hours per week

• Full-time

• Onsite schedule

• Monday- Friday

• 8:00am-5:00pm, flexible on start time PST
