LHH is partnering with a rapidly growing technology firm with a casual and fun office environment to hire a Junior Accountant. Our client’s work-hard, play-hard culture fosters a dynamic and engaging atmosphere, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and development. Our client is looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis.

Position Overview: As a Junior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our client’s financial operations. You will be responsible for processing accounts payable, reconciling credit cards, assisting with month-end close, and reconciling and entering payroll into the payroll system. This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule after a training period, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.

  • Reconcile credit card statements and ensure proper documentation.

  • Assist with the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.

  • Reconcile and enter payroll data into the payroll system.

  • Analyze financial data and generate reports as needed.

  • Collaborate with team members to support financial operations and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of similar accounting experience.

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.

  • Experience with Great Plains is a plus.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze data effectively.

  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
