Office and Events Assistant job in San Diego, CA
LHH has partnered with a non-profit who is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office and Events Assistant to join our team and support their mission. The Office and Event Assistant will provide administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth operation of the office and events. This role is crucial in coordinating volunteers, managing event logistics, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and logistical support, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing events.
Recruit, schedule, and coordinate volunteers for events and training sessions.
Assist with hotel accommodations, parking vouchers, and badges for event participants.
Serve as the go-to person for volunteers during events, providing assistance and support as needed.
Support speakers at panels, ensuring they have everything they need for their presentations.
Assist with event setup, logistics, and technical support.
Track attendance, contact information, and volunteer details, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
Maintain and update all records related to events and volunteers.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in administrative or event support roles.
Previous experience preferred in a non-profit setting and working with volunteers.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
Additional Details:
Location: San Diego, CA- 92117
Pay: $23-$26/hour. Based on experience.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard office hours
40 hours per week
Duration: Contract-To-Hire
