Administrative Assistant

LHH is partnering with a local Mortgage company who is actively seeking an Office Assistant to join their San Diego team! This is a great opportunity to continue your administrative career and building your resume with valuable skills and experience within the Mortgage industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in an office setting, handling confidential documents, reliable and self-motivated. Responsibilities:
- Receive important and confidential mortgage loan documents from USPS, UPS and FedEx
- Organize and review documents into folders
- Review for accuracy and report any discrepancies to the supervisor
- Scan, file and merge documents into e-filing system
- Ship remaining documents to warehouse for storage
- Responding to inquiries and assisting other departments when needed
- Assisting with clerical tasks and special projects
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of administrative office experience
- Experience within mortgage or financial services preferred
- Proficient Microsoft Suite experience
- Takes initiative and able to work independently in a fast paced environment
- Thrives at solving problems and meeting deadlines
- Very tech savvy and fast learner
- Prioritize and manage time efficiently
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and positive attitude!!
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Compensation:
- $20.00/hour
- Contract position, can always be extended or be brought on permanantly based on performance and business need
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 7:00am-4:00pm (hours are flexible)
- Full Time, 40 hours a week
- Office is located in Mission Valley
