Patient Services Representative job in San Diego, CA
LHH has partnered with a reputable and established healthcare network dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Services Representative to join the night shift team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that the patients receive the highest level of service and support during their stay!
Responsibilities:Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Register patients and verify their insurance information
Schedule appointments and assist with appointment reminders
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and efficiently
Collect payments and co-pays from patients
Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role preferred
Proficiency in basic computer skills and knowledge of EMRs and Epic preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
Additional details:
Pay: $20-$23/ hour and based on experience
Schedule: may vary
Onsite in Kearny Mesa
