Payroll/Human Resources Generalist
Location: Mission Valley, CA

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive employee experience
Administer benefits, payroll coordination, and leave management
Process full-cycle payroll, handle discrepancies, and ensure accuracy
Support employee relations by addressing concerns, mediating conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as non-profit regulations
Maintain accurate HR records, update policies, and assist with performance management initiatives
Coordinate staff training, development programs, and employee engagement initiatives
Handle HR inquiries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and workplace best practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required
2+ years of HR experience
Experience in processing full cycle payroll
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Working Hours:
Full-time
Onsite
Monday- Friday
8:00am-5:00pm PST

Compensation: $33.00-$39.00 per hour DOE
