Job Title: Temporary Events and Fundraising Assistant

Location: Mission Valley, San Diego


Type: Temporary | Non-Profit Organization



LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dedicated and organized Temporary Events and Fundraising Assistant to support a leading non-profit organization in Mission Valley. This short-term role is ideal for someone passionate about community engagement and eager to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations.



Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising events and donor engagement activities

  • Support event logistics, including venue setup, vendor coordination, and material preparation

  • Help manage guest lists, track RSVPs, and coordinate event registrations

  • Communicate with sponsors, donors, and volunteers via phone and email

  • Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth execution

  • Maintain donor and fundraising data in the organization’s CRM system

  • Process donations and prepare acknowledgment letters and receipts

  • Assist with post-event reporting and follow-up communications

  • Support the development team with various administrative tasks as needed


Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Flexible schedule with availability for occasional evening or weekend events

  • Prior experience in fundraising, event coordination, or non-profit work is a plus


Working Hours:

  • Full-time

  • Onsite

  • Monday- Friday

  • 9/8/80 schedule


Position Details:

  • Location: Mission Valley, San Diego

  • Contract role till at least October

  • Compensation: $26.00- $30.00 per hour DOE
