LHH is working with a stable Non-Profit in San Francisco who is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team on a 3 plus month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have at least three plus years of experience in accounts payable and a strong understanding of accounting principles. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing and reconciling invoices, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to the accounting department as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and reconcile invoices in a timely and accurate manner

  • Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers

  • Manage monthly reporting of company credit cards, expense reporting, and payment

  • Reconcile vendor accounts and ensure aging items are managed proactively.

  • Develop and Maintain relationships with internal teams and outside vendors.

  • Provide general support to the accounting department as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred

  • Three plus years of experience in accounts payable

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
