Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Efficiently and accurately process incoming invoices, verifying accuracy, coding expenses to the appropriate accounts, and obtaining necessary approvals.
Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers via check, ACH, wire transfer, or other methods as required, ensuring adherence to payment terms and discounts.
Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, addressing inquiries and resolving any discrepancies or issues related to invoices, payments, or accounts.
Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, ensuring that all outstanding invoices are properly accounted for and resolved in a timely manner.
Month-end Close: Assist in month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations related to accounts payable.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to accounts payable processes and documentation.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function, implementing best practices to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in accounts payable or relevant accounting roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
