Remote Corporate Paralegal – Contract Role (Tobacco/Nicotine Industry)
Location: Fully Remote
Contract Duration: July 25 – October 17
Hourly Pay: $44–$55/hour, commensurate with experience
THIS ROLE IS PART-TIME and CONTRACT
A leading company in the tobacco and nicotine industry is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal for a high-impact, short-term contract assignment. This is a fully remote role supporting regulatory, legal, and compliance efforts related to product filings and patent documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and edit legal and regulatory documents with a focus on accuracy and compliance
- Support regulatory submissions related to tobacco and nicotine products
- Assist with patent filings and documentation processes
- Coordinate with internal business units and external legal counsel to ensure timely submissions and deliverables
- Maintain organized records and document tracking in alignment with internal policies and industry regulations
Required Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the tobacco or nicotine industry is required
- Experience supporting regulatory filings, patent processes, and compliance within a corporate legal department
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information and meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
