Remote Corporate Paralegal – Contract Role (Tobacco/Nicotine Industry)

Location: Fully Remote

Contract Duration: July 25 – October 17

Hourly Pay: $44–$55/hour, commensurate with experience

THIS ROLE IS PART-TIME and CONTRACT

A leading company in the tobacco and nicotine industry is seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal for a high-impact, short-term contract assignment. This is a fully remote role supporting regulatory, legal, and compliance efforts related to product filings and patent documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and edit legal and regulatory documents with a focus on accuracy and compliance
• Support regulatory submissions related to tobacco and nicotine products
• Assist with patent filings and documentation processes
• Coordinate with internal business units and external legal counsel to ensure timely submissions and deliverables
• Maintain organized records and document tracking in alignment with internal policies and industry regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Prior experience in the tobacco or nicotine industry is required
• Experience supporting regulatory filings, patent processes, and compliance within a corporate legal department
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage sensitive information and meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment
