An AM Law 50 firm is seeking a 2nd to 4th year associate attorney to join its Data, Privacy, and Cybersecurity team in the New York office. This is an opportunity to work with a dynamic team advising leading companies on complex cybersecurity and privacy matters.

Key aspects of the role include:

• Advising clients on major cybersecurity incidents and investigations

• Counseling on regulatory compliance and cybersecurity best practices

• Supporting technology transactions, mergers, and acquisitions

• Advising cybersecurity companies on threat intelligence and security research

Ideal candidates will have:

• 2 to 4 years of relevant legal experience

• Background in incident response or cybersecurity counseling

• Experience in a state or federal government agency is a plus

Salary range is 235000 to 310000 based on class year, with potential for discretionary merit bonuses.
