Job Title: Fund Development & Marketing Assistant
Location: San Francisco, CA (North of Civic Center)
Organization: Nonprofit Organization Supporting Local Communities
Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and creative Fund Development & Marketing Assistant to support our nonprofit organization’s fundraising and marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community service, grant writing, and digital marketing.
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Grant Writing & Fund Development: Research and apply for grants.
Track funding opportunities.
Assist with donor acknowledgments.
Marketing & Branding: Create promotional materials, including flyers and digital content.
Manage social media platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram).
Support broader marketing campaigns.
Content Creation: Develop and post engaging digital content, especially leading up to a large-scale event.
Campaign & Donor Relations: Coordinate campaign supplies for drop-in services.
Process donor acknowledgments.
Maintain accurate donor and grant records.
Database Management: Utilize Salesforce (mail merge) for donor communications.
Maintain spreadsheets for the accounting department.
Website Management: Assist with updates while the website is under construction.
Requirements:
Software: MS Office, Office 365, Canva (for graphic design), Social Media Platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Instagram), Salesforce (for donor and grant tracking)
Work Environment & Logistics: Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (onsite).
Residential area with schools nearby.
No onsite parking available.
Dress Code: Clean, neat, and casual.

Hands-on, proactive, and collaborative.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
