LHH is working with a rapidly growing Non-Profit located in San Francisco, CA who is seeking a skilled General Ledger accountant to join the team. They are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced General Ledger accountant to join their amazing team!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with affiliate entities and program operations managers to prepare intercompany billings including reviewing and posting corporate allocations.

• Responsible for intercompany accounting and reporting; reconciling and resolving balance issues and account settlements including preparation and review of related journal entries

• Maintain reconciliation between costs incurred and costs billed

• Coordinate with accounting staff in each entity to ensure charges are billed, accounted, and paid appropriately to meet closing deadlines

• Assist with producing year end audit schedules and interface with external auditors.

• Support the execution of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of intercompany accounting amongst business lines and related entities.

• Other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

• 3+ years of experience in intercompany or general ledger accounting; public accounting experience desirable

• Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles

• Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Non-profit accounting experience a plus

• Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and time management skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and successfully meet deadlines

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Adaptable to changing needs

• Ability to handle shifting and multiple priorities in a fast paced, growth environment
