Temporary Legal Talent Acquisition Assistant (San Francisco, CA)
Assignment Duration: April 28, 2025 – September 5, 2025
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM
Pay Range: $28 -32 per hours
Work Setting: Hybrid – 3 days in-office (flexibility to work additional in-office days as needed, based on event schedules)
Overview:
A temporary Legal Talent Acquisition Assistant is needed to support the recruiting team in coordinating law student and lateral attorney hiring across multiple U.S. offices. This position is based in San Francisco and works under the supervision of the Director of Legal Talent Acquisition. The role involves administrative and logistical support to ensure smooth recruitment processes and a positive candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Law Student Recruiting Support:
Prepare and distribute interview materials
Maintain candidate records and recruitment files
Enter and manage data in the applicant tracking system
Send candidate communications (e.g., interview invitations, rejections) and update tracking reports
Coordinate interview logistics, both virtual and in-person (e.g., room reservations, catering, tech setup)
Greet candidates and assist with day-of interview support
Monitor evaluations and send reminders as needed
Help prepare materials for hiring decision meetings
Coordinate logistics for recruitment events and candidate travel
Summer Associate Program Support:
Prepare and maintain employment files
Schedule and support orientation sessions
Organize evaluation materials and monitor completion
Reserve space and arrange catering for training and events
Assist with event planning and day-of support
Maintain calendars for the program and team
Track program-related expenses
Lateral Recruiting Support:
Maintain applicant tracking records for lateral hires
Organize candidate files and support interview scheduling
Monitor evaluation submissions and compile summaries
Prepare offer packets and assist with new hire onboarding logistics
Coordinate new hire orientation scheduling and materials
General Administrative Support:
Maintain both paper and electronic departmental records
Process invoices, check requests, reimbursements, and expense reports
Assist with creating reports and presentations
Coordinate department meetings and logistics
Collaborate with various internal departments (HR, Finance, Tech, Operations, etc.)
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Skills & Abilities:
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach
Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Willingness to work occasionally overtime
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required
Prior experience in recruiting, legal, or professional services preferred
Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
