Office Manager (San Francisco, CA)

LHH is teaming up with a respected law firm in San Francisco, CA in search of an experienced Office Manager to support operations across two U.S. offices.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Office Manager with experience managing staff in a legal setting. They are approachable, calm under pressure, and skilled at resolving issues with a sense of humor and professionalism. This role requires someone who is confident in their expertise, highly organized, and capable of leading.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of two office locations, including facilities, IT, records, and administrative services.

  • Manage and support a team of 25+ staff members, including collaboration with a strong administrator in the secondary office.

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for non-attorney staff.

  • Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws.

  • Plan and execute internal events and engagement initiatives.

  • Maintain business continuity and emergency response plans.

  • Collaborate with leadership to foster a positive and productive workplace culture.


Qualifications:

  • 5 to 7 years of office management experience in a law firm or legal setting (required).

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Deep understanding of HR practices, compliance, and office operations.

  • Ability to make decisions independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.


Job Type: Direct Hire
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite in San Francisco, CA
Hours: Full-time, standard business hours
Pay Rate: $135,000–$145,000 annually
