LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Operational Accounting Manager for our client in San Francisco, CA. This full-time direct hire position offers a hybrid work environment with 2-3 days in office.

The Operational Accounting Manager will oversee all aspects for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bi-weekly payroll, perform GL reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and manage month-end close procedures. This role requires at least 4 years of supervisory experience, excellent attention to detail, and intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the operation of Accounts Payable, Bi-weekly Payroll and Accounts Receivable procedures

· Manage month-end close procedures

· Train staff on account reconciliations

· Identify gaps in internal controls and resolve timely

· Maintain compliance with tax laws and labor regulations

· Develop KPIs to measure success and provide reporting to leadership

· Develop budget forecasts

· Review and analyze period-end financial results

· Perform GL reconciliations

· Prepare journal entries

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree required

· CPA preferred

· At least 8 years of experience in public accounting firm or corporate accounting environment

· 4+ years in supervisory role

· Thorough knowledge of GAAP

· Strong written and oral communication skills

· Intermediate Excel skills

· GL system experience

· Detail-oriented
