LHH is working with an amazing Non-Profit located in San Francisco who is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join the team. As a company, they are committed to providing exceptional service to their clients while also contributing to positive change in the community. They are seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the month end process.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the month-end financial close process, including, but not limited to the preparation of journal entries, bank and balance sheet account reconciliations, and variance analysis

• Prepare and analyze data from CRM and export/import into general ledger

• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and provide revenue projections for programs

• Record all expenses

• Maintain and record fixed assets and depreciation

• Build reports and dashboards to track and analyze results

• Provide support and assistance with year-end close, annual audit and tax return preparation

• Work closely with program/department leads to review monthly budget to actual variances

• Provide support with monthly activity reconciliations

• Prepare bank accounts reconciliations

• Assist with projects as required

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accounting/Business/Finance

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Accounting and Finance

• Non-profit industry experience preferred

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Strong attention to detail, professional, and a team player

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
