Temporary Law Firm Receptionist
Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay: Up to $35 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract, Onsite
LHH is seeking a polished and professional Temporary Receptionist to support the front desk of a busy law firm in San Francisco. This fully onsite role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in clients and visitors, following proper security protocols
Answer and route calls using multi-line console software for local and remote offices
Take and deliver accurate messages and ensure phone coverage during breaks and absences
Coordinate conference room bookings, including scheduling, setup needs, and updates
Provide light hospitality services (e.g., beverages, parking validation, basic copy/print help)
Support meeting logistics, including AV setup, catering orders, and vendor coordination
Keep reception and client-facing areas tidy and stocked
Provide occasional administrative support to attorneys and staff
Communicate facility or maintenance needs to the appropriate team
Participate in safety drills and maintain awareness of emergency protocols
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of receptionist or front desk experience in a professional environment (law firm preferred)
High school diploma or GED required
Proficient with phone systems and console software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Able to multitask, remain composed under pressure, and handle confidential information with discretion
Must be available to work onsite Monday through Friday and open to occasional overtime
Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
