Temporary Law Firm Receptionist


Location: San Francisco, CA
Pay: Up to $35 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Contract, Onsite

LHH is seeking a polished and professional Temporary Receptionist to support the front desk of a busy law firm in San Francisco. This fully onsite role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in clients and visitors, following proper security protocols

  • Answer and route calls using multi-line console software for local and remote offices

  • Take and deliver accurate messages and ensure phone coverage during breaks and absences

  • Coordinate conference room bookings, including scheduling, setup needs, and updates

  • Provide light hospitality services (e.g., beverages, parking validation, basic copy/print help)

  • Support meeting logistics, including AV setup, catering orders, and vendor coordination

  • Keep reception and client-facing areas tidy and stocked

  • Provide occasional administrative support to attorneys and staff

  • Communicate facility or maintenance needs to the appropriate team

  • Participate in safety drills and maintain awareness of emergency protocols

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of receptionist or front desk experience in a professional environment (law firm preferred)

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Proficient with phone systems and console software

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Able to multitask, remain composed under pressure, and handle confidential information with discretion

  • Must be available to work onsite Monday through Friday and open to occasional overtime



Pay Details: $28.00 to $35.00 per hour
