Job Posting: Buyer/Planner


Position Points:

  • Onsite position

  • 6-month temporary assignment

  • Location: San Jose, CA 95134

  • Pay rang of $35.00 per hour to $40.00 per hour

  • Full-time Monday - Friday schedule, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch break


Job Description:

The Buyer/Planner will be responsible for developing and implementing inventory, production, and allocation plans to meet inventory targets and customer service goals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning, scheduling, and executing strategies to ensure the on-time delivery of finished goods, components, raw materials, and distribution orders.

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.

  • Managing changes in the supply chain resulting from product launches, revisions, shifts in demand, customer expectations, product promotions, and product discontinuances.

  • Ensuring efficient inventory management and meeting customer service expectations while minimizing costs.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline production processes and optimize supply chain performance.


Qualifications:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • 3+ years of procurement experience within manufacturing environment

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with teams

  • Experience in inventory management, production planning, or supply chain operations is preferred

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently



Pay Details: $35.00 to $40.00 per hour
