Senior Accountant

Contract/Temporary

$45.00 - $55.00 per Hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Senior Accountant job for the corporate office located in San Jose, CA. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant. The role will be responsible for managing the month-end close, analysis, account reconciliation, journal entries, oversee accounts payable, and receivable, be involved with the forecast and budget, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Strong General Ledger experience
  • Solid knowledge of general accounting knowing your debits and credits (GAAP)
  • Advanced Excel
  • Good communications skills both written and verbal
  • Team player, self-sufficient, and willing to learn
  • Reliable, dedicated, and organized
  • Self-starter, a problem-solver, and quick to learn

Experience: 5 years senior accounting experience


Employment Type: Temporary (6 months)
