LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Senior Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in San Jose, CA. This position is 100% in-office. The ideal candidate will have senior level accounting experience working with leases (ASC 842). The primary focus will perform period-end close functions including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations in areas including but not limited to fixed assets, leases (ASC 842), intercompany, prepaids, accruals, cash, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned. Debt and Equity (RSU, ESPP) accounting experience would be nice to have

Qualifications:


  • Strong General Accounting experience (GL, Fixed Assets, AP, AR)

  • Solid knowledge of general accounting knowing your debits and credits (reconciliations & journal entries)

  • Software experience with a medium to large ERP is preferred

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel

  • Strong communications skills (written & verbal)

  • Team player, helpful, willing and quick to learn

  • Reliable, dedicated, and a thoughtful decision maker

  • Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized


Experience: 5 years of experience as a senior accounting professional (Senior Accountant)


Employment Type: Temporary (6 months)

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
