LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently hiring an Accounting Manager to join our client in San Rafael, CA. This full-time direct hire position offers a hybrid work environment.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for reviewing and preparing financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, assisting with year-end review and reviewing supplemental reporting. This role requires 6-10 years of real estate accounting experience and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and review financial reports for real estate portfolio monthly, quarterly and annually

· Review GL reconciliations for balance sheet accounts

· Review supplemental reporting, including investor distribution schedules, variances, and mortgage statements

· Assist with year-end review process

· Prepare property forecasts

· Maintain portfolio data

· Assist with ad-hoc projects

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

· 6-10 years of experience in real estate accounting

· Strong Excel and Word skills

· Yardi software knowledge preferred

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong project management skills
