Position Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Resident Administrator to join our team in San Rafael. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact within a senior living community. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in affordable housing and extensive experience in handling recertifications. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance and maintaining the highest standards of service for our residents.


Key Responsibilities:


Affordable Housing Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of an 80-unit senior living community, with a focus on affordable housing requirements.


Recertification Management: Take charge of the recertification process, ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date and compliant. The property is currently behind on certifications, and this position will be instrumental in managing and rectifying this backlog.


Resident Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, providing exceptional customer service. Your ability to communicate effectively, with sensitivity, compassion, and patience, is crucial when interacting with senior tenants.


Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all property management activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly those related to affordable housing. Maintain accurate and thorough records.


Qualifications:


Affordable Housing Experience: Proven experience in managing affordable housing, with a strong understanding of related regulations and compliance requirements.


Recertification Expertise: Demonstrated experience in handling property recertifications, with a track record of managing and completing such processes efficiently.


Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior residents in a respectful and compassionate manner.


Customer Service: A genuine commitment to providing outstanding customer service, with patience and empathy for the needs of elderly residents.


Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
