Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support one of our outstanding clients in Sandy Springs. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless and cost-effective movement of goods across the supply chain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations, optimizing transportation and inventory workflows, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork.
Track shipments and address any issues or delays proactively.
Maintain accurate records of logistics activities and generate reports as needed.
Support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to transportation and logistics.
Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to optimize logistics workflows.
Manage and coordinate ocean export shipments, including booking, documentation, and compliance with international trade regulations.
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in logistics coordination or a similar role.
Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, SAP, or similar platforms).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with international shipping and customs documentation.
Familiarity with freight forwarding and third-party logistics providers.
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
