LHH Recruitment Solutions is hiring a Housing Navigator for our nonprofit client located Santa Barbara. This will be a blend of field work and in-office and will be a contract-to-hire, full-time opportunity.

This position will be focused on making housing connections within the community and will meet with landlords, property managers, and other individuals in order to build relationships for our client's participants who are looking for affordable housing. This role will act as a liaison for our client and will help individuals who are living within the interim housing facility take their next step in their housing journey.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years housing navigation/case management experience
• Proficiency working within HMIS and Microsoft Office
• Bilingual Spanish/English desired (not required)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with others and maintain relationships
• Strong ability to analytically resolve issues that arise
• Able to work well with others and also independently as needed
• Can meet deadlines if needed and work well under pressure
• Able to work within multiple software systems
• Bilingual Spanish/English desired, not required
