Key Responsibilities
Conduct forensic reviews of financial records related to insurance claims, fraud, or bankruptcy filings.
Analyze and interpret complex financial data to identify irregularities or potential misconduct.
Prepare detailed reports and summaries for internal stakeholders and external legal or regulatory bodies.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to support investigations and litigation.
Maintain organized digital and physical claim files for audit and legal review
Support reconciliation and distribution waterfall calculations in insolvency cases.
Respond to inquiries from creditors, clients, and internal teams regarding claim status and documentation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of experience in forensic accounting, accounts payable claims analysis, or bankruptcy support.
Familiarity with U.S. bankruptcy codes and claims classifications is a plus.
Strong understanding of financial documentation, tax notices (IRS, FTB, etc.), and legal procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, and Outlook.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
