LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize supply chain operations for our client in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, distribution, and demand forecasting. This role is crucial in ensuring cost efficiency, accuracy, customer satisfaction, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including production planning, procurement, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution.
Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, finance, production, and quality teams.
Optimize logistics by selecting cost-effective transportation routes and implementing warehousing strategies.
Define and track performance metrics to evaluate supply chain efficiency, product cost, and quality.
Forecast demand, develop supply plans, and analyze inventory to improve turnover and reduce waste.
Negotiate with suppliers and vendors, monitor performance, and manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Drive continuous improvement by implementing new processes, adopting technology solutions, and aligning supply chain strategies with business goals.
Ensure compliance with environmental standards and identify opportunities for sustainable practices, including recycling and waste reduction.
Support new product launches and production changes by coordinating material flow and supplier readiness.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
Complex problem-solving abilities.
Critical thinking and systems evaluation.
Expertise in material resource management and negotiation.
Knowledge of transportation principles and methods.
Understanding of business and management principles.
Customer service orientation.
Knowledge of production and processing techniques.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or Procurement.
5–10 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations with increasing responsibility.
Pay Details:
$130,000 - $150,000
