Position Title: Temporary Leasing Agent | Bilingual in Spanish
Pay Rate: $22-27 per hour
Temp though January
Location: Santa Rosa, Ca
Responsibilities:
Assist with all lease-up activities, including reaching out to applicants for interviews and necessary documentation.
Conduct interviews with applicants and process files for compliance approval.
Request and verify documentation from third-party agencies.
Communicate with third-party agencies for clarifications or additional information.
Prepare files for approved applicants for move-in.
Coordinate with applicants to schedule move-in dates and other necessary appointments.
Qualifications: Must have tax credit knowledge and fluent in Spanish
Experience in lease-up, ideally within affordable housing.
Familiarity with Section 8, tax credit, or similar programs is a plus.
Must have a valid California Driver’s License, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Key Duties:
Answer phones courteously and pleasantly.
Greet applicants, residents, and vendors.
Support the Community Manager and/or Leasing Director with marketing tasks (mailing marketing materials, tracking marketing efforts).
Provide tours to prospective tenants.
Accept and review rental applications for completeness and legibility.
Assist with entering pre-applications into the waitlist software system.
Contact applicants on the waitlist for vacant units and track responses.
Help schedule certification appointments and process applicant files for approval.
Conduct background screening and approval processes.
Handle resident work orders and maintain the Work Order Logbook.
Prepare and deliver general notices for the Community Manager as needed.
Collect rent payments and security deposits under the supervision of the Community Manager.
Maintain all relevant documentation in resident files.
Organize resident social functions and communications.
Perform additional job duties as required.
