Administrative Assistant
Customer Service & Support
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, handling mail, and managing office supplies.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date calendars for team members.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence. Maintain organized filing systems (both physical and electronic).
- Accurately enter and update data in various databases and systems. Maintain accurate records and files.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and distribute meeting materials.
- Answer and direct phone calls, respond to emails, and draft correspondence as needed.
- Assist with special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Office Organization: Maintain a clean and organized office environment, ensuring that common areas are tidy and well-stocked.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to order supplies and schedule services.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Job Details:
- Contract to Hire
- Monday- Friday, onsite
- Pay $18-$23 an hour, depending on experience
