Job Posting: Insurance Manager

The Account Manager position plays a vital role in upholding the mission and core values of our organization. We are looking for a dedicated individual to provide exceptional service to our customers within a highly service-oriented agency.

The Account Manager will:

  • Manage customer calls and emails of questions and concerns while providing the highest level of customer service.

  • Monitor the current book of business using system reports to identify upcoming renewals and expirations.

  • Set up renewals in shared folders and begin the effort of copying application information for the ease of the agent’s processes.

  • Maintain a task list in the CRM to trigger upcoming or follow-up activities.

  • Manage ACH and credit card responsibilities and communicate with the accounting department.

  • Process notices of cancellations and all supporting documentation.

  • Prepare and maintain files in an orderly fashion following appropriate naming conventions.

  • Process finance agreements with Insurance agreement software.

  • Perform special projects and duties as requested by the manager.

  • Create ad-hoc reports or spreadsheets to update rate sheets, billing advices, etc.

  • Work in concert with the VP-Insurance on strategies to increase our presence in the marketplace.

  • Coordinate activities with third-party marketing companies.

Qualifications

  • Licensed in Property Casualty Insurance.

  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial lines experience in an agency/broker environment in an Account Manager role.

  • Insurance certifications/courses preferred.

  • Proficiency with all Microsoft applications and strong aptitude in computer software.

  • 1-2 years of Applied Epic experience required.
