The Welding Engineer will focus on optimizing welding processes to improve production efficiency and ensure high-quality outputs. This role involves programming, troubleshooting, and process improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet manufacturing goals and ensure safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic welding systems for quality and efficiency.
Develop and maintain welding parameters and procedures for OTC systems.
Design and improve welding processes, fixtures, and tooling.
Work with maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance of robotic systems.
Troubleshoot and repair robotic welding equipment (hardware/software).
Oversee preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Welding Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred
3+ years of experience in welding engineering
Expertise with OTC robotic systems, programming, and troubleshooting preferred
