Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Salary: $53,000 - $57,000 annually, with bonus and merit increases

Schedule: Mon - Fri 8AM - 5PM - 3 months onsite training, hybrid 3 days WFH following training

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our client's team in Scottsdale. The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, full cycle AP experience, and a background in construction is a plus. This role requires comfort with manual processes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform full cycle accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, coding, and payment.

• Ensure accurate and timely data entry of invoices and payments.

• Handle lien waivers and manage lien releases.

• Utilize JD Edwards for AP processes.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain organized records and documentation.

• Assist with month-end closing and reporting.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of recent experience in accounts payable.

• Experience in the construction industry is a plus.

• Familiarity with Oracle or ERP is a plus.

• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.

• Comfortable with manual processes.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
