Administrative Assistant
Procurement & Supply Chain
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a company in North Scottsdale. This construction organization is a smaller company, and they are in search of a project administrative assistant to join their team. To be considered for this role, you must have experience working with a general contractor. The schedule is fully onsite, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
This role requires a solid understanding of general contracting and project management processes, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and management of construction projects from start to finish
- Work directly with General Contractors (GCs) to ensure all project details are executed according to plan
- Schedule and coordinate site meetings, subcontractors, and vendors
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, RFIs, change orders, and project schedules
- Track project timelines, budgets, and deadlines to ensure compliance and successful delivery
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and resolve any concerns
- Assist with procurement of materials and equipment for job sites
- Support field staff and project managers with day-to-day tasks as needed
- Maintain accurate project files, correspondence, and reports
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, specifically working with General Contractors
- Strong understanding of construction processes, job costing, financials, terminology, and documentation
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations is a plus
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
