Accounting & Finance
The Financial Reporting Analyst will assist in the preparation, analysis, and review of financial reporting deliverables, including SEC filings such as 10-Ks and 10-Qs, as well as internal financial reports and performance summaries. The role involves XBRL tagging, drafting financial statement footnotes, and supporting internal controls. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to grow their technical accounting and reporting experience in the investment management industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and review of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
Tag financial statements and footnotes using XBRL software, applying the correct taxonomy.
Support the drafting and maintenance of footnote disclosures and related documentation.
Contribute to the development of monthly and quarterly internal management reports and financial performance packages.
Perform financial analyses and assist with variance explanations and trend reporting.
Collaborate with internal departments including accounting, compliance, legal, and investor relations.
Maintain documentation to support internal controls and SOX compliance.
Monitor changes in accounting standards and disclosure requirements and assist with implementation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA track preferred.
1–3 years of experience in financial reporting, public accounting, or related field.
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards.
Experience with XBRL tagging tools (e.g., Workiva, Donnelley) preferred.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with reporting or ERP systems is a plus.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in investment management or financial services.
Exposure to 10-K/10-Q preparation and internal financial reporting.
Experience with cloud-based financial reporting tools (e.g., Workiva).
Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
