The Financial Reporting Analyst will assist in the preparation, analysis, and review of financial reporting deliverables, including SEC filings such as 10-Ks and 10-Qs, as well as internal financial reports and performance summaries. The role involves XBRL tagging, drafting financial statement footnotes, and supporting internal controls. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate looking to grow their technical accounting and reporting experience in the investment management industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and review of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.

  • Tag financial statements and footnotes using XBRL software, applying the correct taxonomy.

  • Support the drafting and maintenance of footnote disclosures and related documentation.

  • Contribute to the development of monthly and quarterly internal management reports and financial performance packages.

  • Perform financial analyses and assist with variance explanations and trend reporting.

  • Collaborate with internal departments including accounting, compliance, legal, and investor relations.

  • Maintain documentation to support internal controls and SOX compliance.

  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and disclosure requirements and assist with implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA track preferred.

  • 1–3 years of experience in financial reporting, public accounting, or related field.

  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting standards.

  • Experience with XBRL tagging tools (e.g., Workiva, Donnelley) preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with reporting or ERP systems is a plus.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in investment management or financial services.

  • Exposure to 10-K/10-Q preparation and internal financial reporting.

  • Experience with cloud-based financial reporting tools (e.g., Workiva).



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
