LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a Healthcare Company in Phoenix, AZ that is looking for an Human Resources Generalist to join the team. This is a full-time Monday through Friday in-office position. Pay range from $28.00-$33.00 depending on prior experience. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of generalist experience and a PHR or SHRM certificate, or degree.
The Human Resource Generalist role encompasses various functions including new hire onboarding, HRIS data management, performance management, employee relations, training, compliance, and recruitment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching and consultation to managers, supervisors, and employees to address HR-related challenges.
- Assist in the administration of new hire orientation, onboarding (first 120 days), and offboarding processes.
- Stay updated on federal, state, and local laws, including the ADA, FMLA, OSHA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
- Manage and oversee the full life cycle of ADA, FMLA, and Leave of Absence processes, including implementation and education.
- Collaborate with practice managers and recruiters to attract and select top talent for the clinics.
- Maintain and manage HR employment records related to unemployment claims, leaves, employee relations investigations, transfers, and promotions using HR management system software.
- Perform complex administrative tasks, including maintaining electronic information files and paperwork.
- Foster and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships across the organization.
- Maintain accurate HR records, licenses, and certificates, and prepare reports for management as needed.
- Audit and manage electronic employee files, licenses, and certifications, producing HR reports. on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis for management.
- Assist and support other HR-related projects as needed.
- Provide backup support to the human resources generalist as assigned.
- Manage employee complaints, employee relations, including handling inquiries, investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of performance management activities, including coaching forms, performance evaluations, and compensation changes.
- Guide and coach leaders through the progressive discipline process, including the creation, documentation, and delivery of performance improvement plans and disciplinary strategies, up to and including termination.
- Clarify and explain regulations, policies, or procedures when necessary.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Prior healthcare experience is preferred, not required.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist is required.
- A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems.
- Strong understanding of labor legislation and payroll processes.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with a keen attention to detail.
