LHH is partnering with a company in the property management industry to identify a temporary to hire Accounts Payable Specialist for their team. You will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors and service providers. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. The manager is looking for someone who has at least two years of previous accounting experience and preferably someone who has worked in the same industry before. This role is fully onsite in Seattle, WA.
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Manage the accounts payable workflow, including approvals, coding, and data entry into the accounting system.
- Maintain vendor relationships, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain accounts payable aging reports, ensuring timely payments and optimal cash flow management.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and vendor information.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role, preferably in the property management or real estate industry.
- Proficiency in property management software (e.g., MRI, Yardi, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Employment Details:
- Temporary to hire.
- Fully onsite in Seattle, WA.
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
