A reputable construction company is working with LHH to identify a temporary Accounts Payable Specialist. You will work on a team and be trained on their processes, but the manager is looking for someone with at least three years of AP processing experience. It would be helpful if you had construction industry knowledge as well. Since the team needs help quickly, this position offers a quick interview process. You will need to work fully onsite in their Seattle, WA office for training but after that, you can have a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify invoices for appropriate documentation and approval before payment.

  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments, as well as check payments.

  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date.

  • Maintain vendor files and communicate with vendors to resolve any discrepancies or issues.

  • Process and audit employee expense reports for reimbursement.

  • Assist in month-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and accrual entries.

  • Generate and provide accounts payable reports as needed for management review.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Employment Details

  • Fully onsite for training

  • Temporary for at least six months

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM



Pay Details: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour
