LHH is partnering with a large company that is searching for a temporary AP Specialist for their team. This will be a longer-term position for at least the next year to assist with some increased workload. Your main tasks will be processing invoices at a high volume and then managing vendors. You will work on a team so there will be training, and there is opportunity for a hybrid work schedule after training. The office is in Seattle, WA but free parking is available.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
  • Maintain and update vendor files and payment records.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing of accounts payable records.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 2 or more years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP or NetSuite.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.


Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
