Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process invoices from vendors accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Maintain and update vendor files and payment records.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing of accounts payable records.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred.
- 2 or more years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems, such as SAP or NetSuite.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
