LHH is looking for a full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client growing company in Seattle, WA. This position will be a 6-month contract that is fully onsite at the client location.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
Monitor accounts to ensure payments are received on time.
Process and record incoming payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
Follow up on outstanding invoices and communicate with clients regarding overdue accounts.
Maintain accurate financial records and update customer accounts as needed.
Assist with month-end closing tasks and financial reporting.
Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus).
Proven experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial transactions.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Compensation: $25-$30/hour DOE
