Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position with hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The Accounts Receivable Specialist will report to the Accounts Receivables Manager and will provide clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts under their control.
Key Responsibilities:
Process manual rent deposits and review payments online and lockbox via YARDI.
Process accounting deposits and review contracts.
Handle monthly postings to accounts and research and resolve payment discrepancies.
Perform account reconciliations and review transaction and unpaid charge reports.
Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
Initiate and discontinue any non-pay legal cases.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
Experience in real estate and/or property management.
Proficiency with Yardi software.
Basic to intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.
