LHH is partnering with a non-profit organization in south Seattle, WA area that is looking for a temporary Accounts Receivable Specialist. This individual will be helping clean up data, reconciling accounts, and reaching out to external customers for payment resolution. The ideal candidate will have at least a year of accounting experience. Also, since you will be communicating with clients, professional communication skills are crucial in this position. This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule after training and a friendly, supportive work culture.
Responsibilities:
  • Track and monitor all incoming funds, including donations, grants, sponsorships, and other sources of revenue.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, including issuing invoices and receipts to stakeholders.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all receivables, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and organizational policies.
  • Communicate with donors, sponsors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues related to payments and receivables.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable balances with bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in accounts receivable or financial management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues related to accounts receivable promptly and effectively.
Employment Details:
  • Temporary for three months.
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Hybrid after training in the Kent, WA office.


Pay Details: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour
