LHH has partnered with a great law firm seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Complex Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team in Seattle. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting high-stakes litigation matters from inception through resolution.

Key Responsibilities

As a Complex Litigation Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting attorneys with all phases of litigation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and correspondence.

  • Managing large-scale document productions, including organizing, indexing, redacting, and Bates labeling.

  • Conducting legal and factual research using tools such as Westlaw and PACER.

  • Assisting with case preparation for hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

  • Preparing and maintaining case files, chronologies, and document databases.

  • Coordinating e-filing and service of documents in State and Federal courts.

  • Managing litigation calendars, deadlines, and case milestones.

  • Supporting attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibit lists, witness files, and trial binders.

  • Communicating with clients, court personnel, experts, and opposing counsel.

  • Assisting with time entry, billing, and expense tracking as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on complex civil litigation.

  • Strong knowledge of State and Federal court rules and procedures.

  • Proficiency in legal research platforms (e.g., Westlaw), document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and staff.

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.

Job Details:

  • Contract to hire

  • In - Office, Mon - Fri

  • Pay: $35 - $45 per hour

Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.



Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
