Job Description:
LHH Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our client's team in Seattle, WA. This is an onsite position with a contract duration of 3-4 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. The HR Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting their HR department with various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, processing paperwork, and updating HR databases.
- Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
- Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire packets and conducting exit interviews.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate submission of timesheets.
- Coordinate and organize HR-related events and training sessions.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional HR certification or coursework is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience in an HR role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
