Job Title: Temporary Legal Assistant
Location: Seattle, Washington
Schedule: On-Site
Pay Details: $30-42/hr.

Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is actively seeking experienced Legal Assistants for contract positions in Seattle, Washington. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in legal research, document preparation, case management, and administrative support, coupled with excellent communication skills.



Responsibilities:

  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

  • Perform legal research and analyze documents pertinent to cases

  • Manage e-filing for state and federal courts

  • Organize and maintain legal files

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal teams, including managing correspondence, scheduling, and coordinating case materials

  • Perform data entry to keep case records current

  • Efficiently handle incoming communications

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Legal Assistant role or similar capacity

  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and a thorough understanding of legal procedures

  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and projects

  • Skilled in using computer software for data entry, document management, and legal research

  • Strong commitment to confidentiality

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
