Job Title: Sr. Practice Assistant (Hybrid)
Location: Seattle, WA
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Practice Assistant to join our client's practice group. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative support to a team of lawyers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level administrative support, including client billing, matter management, project organization, and database/file management.
- Coordinate and prepare monthly client bills.
- Manage emails, calendar appointments, and client contact lists.
- Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics.
- Organize and maintain correspondence and documents using the document management system.
- Create, edit, and proofread letters, legal documents, and memos.
- Assist with business development support as needed.
- Manage physical and electronic files, including intake, retention, retrieval, and transfer of records.
- Prepare check requests and expense reports.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements and process related business expense reimbursements.
- Provide backup support to other practice assistants as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a legal practice assistant, executive assistant, or administrative assistant, preferably in a large law or professional firm.
- Strong administrative skills, including typing, proofreading, spelling, grammar, and math.
- Proficiency in Windows 365, iManage, Acrobat Adobe, Concur, Intapp, and Elite 3E/Paperless Proforma preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to take initiative and anticipate next steps.
- Positive attitude and growth mindset.
- Professional demeanor with clients, lawyers, paralegals, and staff.
- Excellent communication skills.
