Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a Seattle-based law firm to hire a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support a team of attorneys focused on e-discovery and litigation technology. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of experience in a legal support role, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and project support to attorneys in litigation and e-discovery, including calendar management, travel coordination, and document preparation
- Manage client billing processes, including time entry, invoice generation, and related edits
- Maintain and organize both physical and electronic files, databases, and records in line with firm protocols
- Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and memos with high attention to detail
- Coordinate meetings and logistics with internal teams and external parties
- Open new client matters, assist with conflict checks, and track key project deliverables and deadlines
- Collaborate across departments to promote operational efficiency and support ongoing team needs
- Provide overflow and backup support as needed, and take on additional administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in a legal, executive, or administrative assistant role (experience in e-discovery or litigation support a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiar with legal software such as document management and billing/time entry tools (e.g., iManage, Elite, Adobe Acrobat, Concur, Intapp)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable handling billing processes and working with financial data
- High school diploma required; business school certificate or associate degree preferred
