Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant
Location: Seattle, Washington
Schedule: Hybrid (3 days in-office/2 remote); 37.5 hr. work week
Salary: $83,000-$93,000 DOE

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join our client’s team in Seattle, Washington, supporting a team handling asbestos litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in case management, court filings, and litigation support, bringing a proactive and detail-oriented approach to assisting attorneys. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with state and federal court procedures. Candidates should be comfortable handling high-volume litigation, managing complex case files, and coordinating with attorneys, clients, and court personnel to ensure seamless case progression.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, format, and file legal documents in accordance with Washington state and federal court rules
  • Manage electronic court filings, docketing, and calendaring of critical deadlines
  • Maintain case files, track deadlines, and coordinate case-related logistics
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support, including scheduling, correspondence, and document management
  • Utilize legal software and technology for document storage, communication, and workflow efficiency

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 10 years of litigation legal support experience in a law firm setting
  • Strong knowledge of Washington state and federal court rules and filing procedures
  • High level of organization, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word; experience with NetDocs is a plus
