Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Paralegal with at least four years of litigation experience to join our client’s Seattle team for a long-term temporary assignment. Trial experience is essential, along with proficiency in trial preparation, discovery, and handling subpoenas.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, drafting trial documents, and coordinating logistics
- Review, organize, and manage case documents efficiently
- Analyze and manage evidence for case preparation
- Prepare subpoenas, handle discovery requests and responses, and assist with background and fact investigations
- Support attorneys in case management and litigation processes
- Draft and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of civil litigation experience
- Trial experience with multiple cases taken to trial
- Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well under time constraints in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with state and local civil procedures and filing requirements in Washington
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, principles, and procedures relevant to litigation
- Experience preparing subpoenas, discovery requests, and responses
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and other legal software
