LHH has partnered with a great law firm who is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Litigation Paralegal to support their team in Seattle, WA.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and manage legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
Organize and maintain case files, including electronic document management.
Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit and witness lists, trial binders, and logistics.
Coordinate and manage document production, including e-discovery and subpoena responses.
File legal documents with courts, including proficiency in Washington State e-filing systems.
Track deadlines and ensure timely filings and responses.
Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.
Support attorneys during hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and terminology.
Experience with Washington e-filing systems is required.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Job Details:
Contract: 6 months with possible extension
In-Office, Mon - Fri
Pay: $35 - $50 an hour
Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
